A new year's prayer

I just wanted everyone to have easy access to the New Year's prayer that I recorded this week. It's at http://intuitiveliz.com/weeklyprayer.html. It's a prayer you can listen to to release the old year and open yourself to the new year. I always do the prayers in first person so that it will fully activate the prayer for you. Lots of love and light to you all for the new year. Blessings, Liz

Solstice, Lunar Eclipse, and all the other crazy energy!

How is everyone out there doing with all the energy shifts we are all going through? Wow, is all I can say, it has been intense. You might say, when is it not intense? I might agree. :) Holidays can be overwhelming without all this crazy energy going on at the same time.

When I read the global energy that is affecting us personally, it feels like the world is turning around and making us focus on what is truly important to us on our own unique paths. We cannot get away with avoiding who we are. This might be true always to some extent, but it is doubly true at this moment in our soul's history. I can literally feel the pull energetically saying "turn within and face your Self. Do not back away from who you are."

What is kind of cool about this whole process is that we actually function better when we are not avoiding who we are. Imagine that!

I had a great hike today with my crazy dogs and I got off trail randomly. It made me have to focus completely so that I didn't fall on my face. My mind could not wander, and I had to be fully present with who I was in that moment. The world dropped away and I felt very fluid and at peace. (And slightly clumsy at times as well, but very present as I was clumsy.:)) As I saw my strengths and weaknesses with the process of getting down the mountain, I let my mind watch my experience without judging it. It was a perfect moment of being.

So, if you want to find some sanity over this holiday season, make sure you spend time listening to who you are. If that time comes from meditation, awesome, if it comes from hiking in the mountains, awesome as well. Part of listening to who you are is finding what you love to do and doing it in a fully present and focused way.

Many Blessings to you all, Liz

Taking time to be Present

As I was preparing to teach my class on intuition a couple of weeks ago, I was thinking of simple ways to become more focused on the present moment. The more present we are, the more we naturally awaken our intuitive voice. One thing that occurred to me was to really focus on our food when we are eating. A lot of us eat and talk or eat and watch TV, but it is very simple just to take time to consciously eat. Sometimes finding time to meditate is hard, but we eat every day right? (Unless we are fasting.:))

So, as a new practice, try eating one meal a day consciously focusing on the flavors and sensations of your meal. This will immediately bring you to the present moment and you might find some awesome insights along the way. As you take time in a day to be present, the mind has time to find focus and you become more conscious of what is bothering you and you also become more conscious of the solutions.

Blessings to you all in this holiday season,
Liz

The Holiday Season

Life can be overwhelming during the holiday season. We can easily get caught up in worldly life and forget our divinity for awhile. It is so important to re-center ourselves in the divine light that is our truth so that we can stay grounded and centered with all the craziness.

I know that this season is about giving, and we could look at that as giving physical gifts, but we could also look at the divine act of giving as well; giving kindness, giving time, giving presence, giving generosity. Some people go and volunteer this time of year, and this is great, but sometimes it is the small act of giving that is equally well received. Being present with the waiter at a restaurant, connecting and smiling with the cashier at Target, being kind to your neighbor's dog, really listening to your family and friends, all are forms of giving that can make a deep impact in someone's lives. When we really connect with people, the world shifts and we deepen our connection to the divine.

Many Blessings to you all in this holiday season!

Awakening your Intuitive Voice

I am teaching a class this weekend called "Awakening your Intuitive Voice". Why would we want to be more intuitive?  When we connect with our intuition, we connect with the voice of our heart and our divinity and we learn our lessons with more grace.

We can imagine living our life with the voice of our mind as our guide and our director. Our minds are limited to what we know and what we have seen. We as human beings have only had a limited amount of experiences in our lives and, even if we are triple Phds, we have only gathered a limited amount of knowledge. Our minds try and tell us that our experiences and knowledge are the truth of our being and that our experiences and knowledge define who we are and what we are here on this earth. When we live from the voice of our mind, we can only move through life from what we as individuals have learned and what we as individuals know.

When we awaken our intuitive voice in life, we connect to a vast ocean of knowledge because we are connecting with the divinity inside us and around us. This divinity has a limitless wealth of information and wisdom that we can tap into that leads us on a gentler path in life. We are all divine and we all have a divine voice that I call intuition. Imagine if we can see into the easiest and clearest solution to the issues that we have in our lives. Imagine if we can see the purpose for the challenges we have in our lives. Our mind, our personality, our humanity has no ability to connect with this consciousness on its own. It can only connect when we awaken our intuitive voice. The louder that intuitive voice becomes, the more we learn to trust the information that we receive and the more fluid our lives become.

So, here's to awakening our intuitive voices more strongly in our lives. Here's to recognizing the divinity in all aspects of our lives. Here's to finding simple and deeply wise solutions to challenging problems!

Come join me if you are here in Albuquerque this Sunday from 1-4 for a class that will help you awaken your intuitive voice. Email me for more information. innerhealth@yahoo.com.

Blessings, Liz

Thanksgiving

This is probably my favorite holiday and one that I live by day to day. Giving thanks is the cornerstone to life and is a deep part of being divine in this world as a human. When we forget to be grateful, life becomes tedious and mundane. When we open our minds and our hearts to gratitude for what we have before us, the world opens up and becomes inspiring and limitless.

Right now, I am looking out my window at the gorgeous New Mexico sky and watching the clouds roll by as a storm is blowing through. There is an intense wind blowing the fall leaves off a tree. The air is crisp and clear and my heart feels full. There is deep gratitude in my heart for the forces of nature and the beauty that those forces bring. My body feels strong and I am grateful for my health and the state of peace that I feel.

Why am I talking about all of this? I am trying to convey that we experience gratitude without being conscious of that experience all the time. We don't have to be consciously grateful to be experiencing deep satisfaction with the life that we are in, but when we consciously give thanks in our mind and in our hearts, our energy lifts. Just writing what I was grateful for in this moment helped to lift my spirit and helped me to feel more open and more willing to let in more goodness and more divine experiences.

Practicing conscious thanks giving can inspire our lives and inspire the lives of those around us. When we are thanked by those around us for our strengths, we are filled with energy and we are inspired to  practice our strengths even more. When we thank people around us for their strengths, we inspire them to pass those strengths on and we feel full from giving support and love to someone in our lives.

So, our practice is to give thanks daily for what we are experiencing. Even consciously giving thanks for simple things can lift our spirits and open our hearts to more and more experiences to be grateful for in our lives. When you feel down and low, look and see if you have given yourself a conscious dose of gratitude that day. If you haven't, pick some aspects of your life that are easy to be grateful for. If all you can see to be grateful for is the sky above you and the ground below your feet, start with gratitude for that and let the rest open up around you.

We open our hearts to the divine truth of our being when we let ourselves experience gratitude and when we share that gratitude with the world through conscious experience and expression. The heaviness of the world lifts and we can feel divine purpose and divine plan. We start to focus on all the goodness that exists in our lives and let go of our focus on what we don't have. Life becomes expansive. Go out there and experience and express gratitude. I am deeply grateful for all that you are and all that you are not. Even if I have never met you, I know that you are a part of the divine balance in this life that I lead. Let others be grateful for you as well.

Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving, Liz

Kryptonite

I woke up thinking about Kryptonite this morning from the Superman movies and comics. It is the only substance that weakens Superman's powers and can kill him. Why, you might ask am I bringing this up? Well, I was realizing that we all have forms of Kryptonite in our lives. Unlike Superman (who is super-human after all) we mere mortals have more than one form of Kryptonite that weaken our energy and hold us back from our true nature and strength. Each of us have our own unique forms of Kryptonite and when we identify what weakens us, we can grow stronger and healthier.

We all have Kryptonic (I realize that is not a word, but it is now. :)) relationships. Some of those relationships are with people, some of the relationships are within ourselves, some are with food, some with activities or addictions. The key is to find what is unhealthy and either change the dynamic we have with the relationship or get rid of it all together.

I recently had a date with a guy who had all the right elements and interests and "should" have been a perfect match for me. When I got home that night, I felt drained beyond reason and felt that way for a few days afterward. He was Kryptonite for me. Why? On paper he was perfect and he was a really nice guy. Was it past life energy? Was it an imbalance between us? Was he an energy vampire? Does it really matter? I was energetically sick from the interaction. That doesn't mean he was a bad person, it just means his energy was bad for me. Identifying a feeling and a drain of energy is the first step toward choosing healthy, energizing relationships and creating a balanced life. What seems perfect might not be perfect for you. Broccoli might be toxic for you. You might be very happy that broccoli is toxic for you. :) It's up to you to pay attention to what feeds you and to what brings you down.

So, pay attention to your energy. When you enter into a relationship with someone or something, does it make you feel neutral, does it lift your spirits, or does it bring you down? If it brings you down, is there something that needs to be said or done that can open the relationship to health? Ask for divine support to feel or know if there is an action that can create health.

If the "Kryptonic" relationship in question is with a person, talk more openly, express more freely and see if the relationship is restored. If it isn't, be willing to either leave the relationship or change the dynamic. If the "Kryptonic" relationship in question is with a food that doesn't sit well with you, look at what you ate it with and try a different combination next time. Look at the time of day you ate it, pay attention and change the dynamic and if it still doesn't sit well, either take the food out of your diet or lessen your intake of it. If the "Kryptonic" relationship is with an activity that is necessary like cleaning, look at how to approach it differently and make it more fun.

There are most likely few truly "Kryptonic" relationships in our lives, meaning things that truly will drain us to the point of death like poor Superman; things that no matter what we change still make us sick. True Kyptonite is more evident immediately and we feel it in the depths of our soul. Some of us might have days where our children feel like Kryptonite, our husbands or wives, our food, or our daily activities, but the days pass and we are back to a state of health. Again, the key is to pay attention and to feel and acknowledge what feeds us and what brings us down and to be willing to have the strength to let something go that is truly toxic for us.

While I'm writing this, I also realize that relationships can change over time, especially relationships with people because we are all dynamic energy that is constantly growing. What was once great and powerful can sometimes turn to Kryptonite over time. That can be tricky for all of us to acknowledge. Be willing to see and feel and know what feeds you and drains you and be willing to recognize a change of dynamic over time and you will be strong and healthy throughout your life.

Many Blessings, Liz

Juggling

We all have moments in our lives when we feel like we are juggling too many things. Whether it be too many thoughts, too many activities, or too many emotions, most of us are juggling all the time. This is also true of the divine. As we grow and shift, the divine works with our growth to find the best possible energy that serves us in the moment we are in. Are we meant to be challenged in the moment so that we can have some form of breakthrough? Are we meant to be nurtured so that we can heal? Are we meant to have nothing going on so that we can have a breather? Our divinity within us and around us is constantly adjusting to find balance that is most perfect for our growth. Unlike us, the divine is an expert juggler that feels no stress and no judgement if another ball is thrown in or thrown out of our lives.

How can we work best with our divinity so that we are juggling together in perfect harmony? Most of you already have answered this if you have worked with me before. Sit and connect with the divinity within you and around you. Give your being time to catch up with itself every day. Give a few minutes of time to your connection to the divine life force that is working within you and around you to create positive growth and inspiration in your life. This will not only help the divine juggling to feel more gentle and smooth, but it will also help you to consciously work as a team with the divine. You will be able to prioritize in your heart and mind so that your personal juggling is more smooth.

When we sit with the divine and let ourselves catch up with the moment we are living in, we let go of resistance to living the life we are living. The less we resist what we have in front of us in our lives and the more we accept who we are and where we are, the fewer balls we will drop and the more fun we will have juggling all the aspects of our lives.

So, sit with the divine light that is your truth. Ask to be inspired in every action that you take on this earth. Surrender to the divine assistance that is always there for us to feel and know. Then, get out there and juggle with a wide open heart and mind.

The Day of the Dead

Today is a day to honor those who have passed to spirit. The veils between the worlds are thinner and we can connect and communicate with our divine friends and loved ones more clearly today. It is good to spend time with those that have passed, honoring in our minds and hearts who they were when they were here on earth, and honoring who they are in spirit.

I spent some time yesterday honoring a friend who passed on October 31st a few years ago. His name was Evan and he was an amazing person here when he was in his body. He was very sensitive to life and very troubled in his mind. He had an engaging smile and a unique perspective on life. He explored all kinds of alternative healing and all kinds of ways to heal his mind, but he wound up taking his life on October 31st, 2004.

Since Evan died, I have connected with his energy quite a bit. He has found peace in spirit and is now an amazing angel/guide.  When I connect with him, I see who he was here on earth, and then also see what I would call his light body. His energy is powerfully clear and open and expansive. He has released all that he was healing on this planet and now is assisting in the healing and transformation that the world is going through.

I tell this story to demonstrate that when we connect with the spirit and soul of someone, it's important to realize that they are in a new and divine place. The essence of who they were here on earth is there, but they have continued to grow and learn and expand. If they were unhappy in life, they might have learned and shifted and grown past that unhappiness and found divine peace and joy.

Send love and peace to the spirit of those that have passed. Ask for any divine message they might want you to hear or feel. Be open. You may feel peace and joy or you may get a message of love. You may not quite be ready to feel or hear anything, but just giving a moment of time can help you be ready the next time you connect. If, in anyway you feel disturbance when you try to connect, ask for angels and divine light to surround you and the soul that you are connecting with so that you both can find peace. The disturbance could be your own process of healing grief, or it could be the soul that you are connecting with trying to open to the light. Either way, the divine will take care of both of you in your healing.

Many Blessings to you all on this sacred and divine day,

Liz

The Art of Love

Some of you know of my new adventures in being a doggie mom, but I wanted to share a little bit with you all. I went from having the perfect dog- my dog Gracie who was an angel in disguise as a dog- to having dogs that are flawed. Gasp! :) Through the process of loving these two rascals, I feel like a better person, so I thought I would share a little bit of the adventure. What it has truly come down to is love. Learning how to share love with animals who have been abused can only help me love my clients and all of human kind a little better. There is an art to love. I have had to be creative in how to share love, how to approach with love, and how to see love being returned to me in odd ways. I know that we have all applied our creativity to loving someone, whether it be a child who is pushing our boundaries, whether it be a person that we are deeply connected to who has blocks and barriers to love, whether it be an animal who pulls at our heartstrings, or whether it is something about ourselves that we wish we could change, we all have worked to perfect our art of love. For me, lately, my art has led me on a path to love through my new dogs.

I'll start with Cosette, who is now 2 years old. She came to me through the pound when she was 3 months old. She actually called to me from the heavens and I knew I needed to go to the pound and then she screamed and squealed at me through the bars until I brought her home. People gave me pitying looks as I went to get her. She is high strung, to say the least, and yet she was immediately accepted by Gracie, so I knew she had to stay. Holy crap, though, she was tough. Chewed her way and bit her way through the first year, running and playing like a maniac until she would pass out and then running an playing some more. Slowly, she let me in to her wild and wacky world. She would sit at my feet and give me what I can only describe as a shit eating grin. Are there laws to swearing in blog land? I hope not. I could feel that she felt like the little orphan Annie winding up in some kind of doggie heaven. She let me love on her in fits and starts, and tried to block love through her hyper behavior. Her behavior gradually settled as she could see that she was accepted by the pack and that she was staying. Now, I would still describe her as high strung, but she loves to be loved on and will sit and be petted for as long as you can pet her.

Crazy dog #2 came in the form of Bella, who entered my life a couple of months after Gracie died. Cosette mourned Gracie so deeply, I felt like I owed it to her to find a friend. I was called in a deep way to search for a companion for Cosette, and "randomly" found Bella on the internet. Her little cute face made me drive across town to bring her home. Here is where the true adventure to love begins.

When I brought Bella home, I felt very drawn to her, but I was not convinced she was my forever dog. I felt like I was meant to love on her, but I might need to find her a new home. This was continually confirmed by Cosette, who loved Bella at the Humane Society, but who immediately took a dislike to her when I brought her home. I could feel Cosette mourning Gracie and taking it out on Bella by playing really rough with her. I was a constant referee. Bella was protective of her food, water, toys, and bones and growled quite a bit. She was a bully with Cosette. Bitchiness abounded at my house. It was stressful, but I just kept setting boundaries and loving on both dogs. I could tell Bella had been really abused and starved, but I didn't want to have Cosette lose her place or be bullied. I was just thinking of finding Bella a home when she came down with the non-contagious form of the mange. I needed to get her healthy and love on her some more. Then, she sprained her knee from her weakness with the mange. She was a mess, and it really opened my heart to her and her plight. Abused, bad-assed, and sick, I felt like she needed love more than most. Cosette softened to her as she healed we have found a balance for now. Bella really helped Cosette and I mourn Gracie and open our hearts to a new dog friend. She makes it hard to love her sometimes still, but she is softening and losing her bullying front.

Through this whole process, I have had to be creative with love. I continue to learn when to apply tough love, when to be soft, when to love at a distance, and when to be extra present. It has been a journey and continues to be a journey. We all must find ways to be creative with love and to find the balance of love within ourselves and around us. How do we love ourselves on days that are challenging? Do we get tough with ourselves, or do we need softness and nurturing? How do we love our children when they are pushing our buttons? Do they need boundaries, or do they just need to assert themselves for a moment? How do we love our partner when he makes us mad? Do we need him to understand us, or do we need to listen to his needs? The art of love comes into our lives multiple times a day and if we keep our hearts open and aware we can be masters in this art form. Many blessing to you all.

Living in Divine Truth

The affirmation, "I am Divine truth," is on my mind today. What exactly does that mean? Here's what it means for me. When I spend time and sit with my divinity, I feel a vast ocean of wisdom and support within me and surrounding me. There is a feeling of deep peace and tranquility and my mind stops whirling around all of the issues that I am facing in my life. I call this true surrender; I am surrendering to what is always there within me and around me. I can sit and find this truth no matter what is going on in my life. If there are more challenging circumstances in my life, it might be harder for me to access this ocean, it might be harder for me to still my mind, but the ocean is always there. This is divine truth.

I realize that I am lucky that I can still my mind and find this space relatively easily, although it took a lot of practice and focused intention to get to this place. I was actually a very intensely mental person in my earlier life and I never could get out of my head. I knew there was divinity in there, I just had a hard time accessing it. For me, the breakthrough that really got me into a deep space of divinity was learning yoga. Though I don't practice it much any more, it really helped me get out of my head.

A lot of people that I work with find challenges getting in touch with the divine within as well. It takes practice and it also takes finding what works for you. I recommend finding an activity that helps you "lose your mind."  For some people that would be running or biking or walking or yoga, for some people it would be knitting or cooking or cleaning (if it is cleaning you are welcome to come over to my house!), for some it would be drawing or painting or playing the guitar; we all have different way of getting out of our focused thinking. Practice whatever activity helps you get out of your head daily and ask for divine assistance in feeling and experiencing and knowing divine truth. You will start to connect more with your inner divinity and the truth will be revealed over time. The more you practice surrender, the more surrender will be natural to you.

Many blessings on your path to consciously living in divine truth. You will love being able to access a vast ocean of divinity more and more in your life. When you connect with divine truth, you will find life to be more fluid and gentle and more meaningful.

If you need help on this path, let me know. Love and Light, Liz

10-10-10- Divine Balance

I love direct symbols of divine balance, and today being 10/10/10 is one of those days. I love numbers, though I know very little about numerology and I especially love when numbers are in balance. Today and every day we can honor divine balance within us and around us. Many blessings to everyone on this beautifully balanced day!

Empowering our Divine Self

I was reading through an old journal of mine from years ago and I wrote that I thought the biggest challenge in life is identifying who we truly are and then living from that true self regardless of what other people might think of us for doing so. After years of practicing intuitive life coaching, I would still agree with this. We all have "quirks" or differences on how we perceive life. These differences are the divine's way of balancing life by allowing us all to be unique. Often, instead of embracing these quirks, we try to conform to how we think other people perceive life or how we have been taught we "should" perceive life. We have been conforming every year we have been here on the planet. Sometimes the conforming is small, and sometimes it is big, but each time we conform we lose a piece of ourselves.

What would happen if we all loved and honored who we are and embraced and honored everyone for who they are? Some might say there would be complete chaos in the world. To me, it feels like it would create a perfect balance.

Now for the big question... Drum roll, please. How do we navigate our way back to our perfect self, our true identity?

Know that our whole being is driven by our true self, so returning to that self is not a process of creation, but a process of surrender. We don't have to create our identity, we were born with it. It is actually harder to be someone that we are not than to be who we are. We have just forgotten how to relax into our truth. It's like we have been carrying around a heavy backpack that we forgot we were carrying. We need to find a way to take it off.

Start with intention. "I set a deep intention to find, know, love, and honor myself. I open to easily and gently heal and release all the fear that surrounds me in this process." Spend some time with yourself doing things that you love doing. Spend some quiet time with yourself listening to your mind. First, your mind might just chatter, but underneath the chatter is your true voice that given time can be heard. "I surrender to my true self, my true voice."

Returning to your divine self takes time. It took time to get where you are and it will take time to relax into who you truly are. Love yourself through it all and you will find this journey back to yourself joyful and inspiring.

Blessings, Liz

Creativity and Healing

I just read today in a horoscope that creativity cannot exist without healing. This is is an interesting concept to me. I think the writer was talking about creativity in terms of life, meaning as we create what we desire in our life, we are naturally healing what stands in our way of that desire. Makes sense to me. So, in order to create we must heal, in order to heal, we must create. I have always seen that with the law of attraction. When we start to bring in our intentions, naturally the blocks that we have in the way of those intentions come to the forefront of our lives.

Let's say we want to create a romantic relationship in our lives. What is it that stands in our way of that relationship? For some of us it is lack of self worth, or lack of self love, or a fear of intimacy, or fear of trusting, and for some it is all of the above. So when we bring the energy of a romantic relationship closer to us, we also bring healing into our lives. We might create people who are close to what we want, but not quite right so we can work out our issues for the right person. We might work out intimacy issues with our close friends. We start to hear and feel our insecurities louder in our mind. All of this is a sign that we are on the right track, although it can appear to be the opposite. It is a tendency for us to get close to our desires and to give up because we see all the problems that we might have with the desire at hand. Instead, know that the closer you are to your desire, the more heightened your issues will be. This could be called a "healing crisis". Ask for divine assistance in moving through your issues and healing them so that you can deeply create in your life.

I love the simple thought that as we create, we heal. It can help our mind find peace in the midst of intense healing processes.

Much Love, Liz

Ascension

It has occurred to me that the transformation that we are all going through is what some people call "ascension", or moving into a multi-dimensional self. What this means for us is that we will be able to perceive life in a fuller and more fluid way than we have in the past; we will be able to see and feel and experience ourselves as more than just physical beings; we will know our divinity more consciously and more tangibly. This is an exciting time on the planet. When we feel into the world around us, we can know oneness and the interconnection between us and the world around us. Ahhh, how brilliant and how challenging.

All of our egos are taking a bruising at this time in our evolution because in order to ascend, our egos need to take a back seat to our divinity. Our egos have been so taught to lead, that they are kicking and screaming as we are evolving. We need to honor our ego and talk to it. Give it love and send it gently to it's place. Our ego's true job is to serve our divinity, we have culturally just taught it to lead us. When it is leading, we get caught up in the physical world and forget to see the deeper and broader picture. We create dramas in our lives and in our minds. When the ego is in it's divine place, the drama drops away. The ego settles into it's role of serving the divine within and the divine around us. We take inspired actions that serve us and the greater whole. We find peace.

A prayer to help would be, "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, help me to ascend to a multi-dimensional self. Help my ego to find it's place in an easy and gentle way. Embrace my ego with divine love and light as it struggles and help me to honor it's place without giving it too much power. I open to the limitless nature of the divine wisdom within me that will help me to experience life in a richer way. I allow this wisdom to guide me in my life and I ask that my ego learn to follow it. In gratitude and thanks, Amen."

Much love and light to you all, Liz

Transformation

There seems to be an intense energy of transformation for all of us this year. We all have the opportunity to transform core beliefs that do not serve us anymore so that we can enter into a more joyful and blissful life. Transformation in the short run can be deeply troubling because the rug is being pulled out from under us over and over again. We can lose a sense of identity and sometimes even forget our purpose. In the long run, however transformation is a good thing and can lead us to deeper, richer lives.

How do we handle transformation in as graceful a manner as we possibly can?

Make sure that you use grounding techniques. Get out into the sunshine and let it clear and cleanse you. Cold water splashed on your face and hands can immediately wake you up and get you present. Deep breaths can ground and center you. If you just feel completely overwhelmed all the time, holding a rock can be useful. All of this helps you to connect to your body and connect to the earth. We are all rooted here on this planet at this time, and our connection to the earth can soothe and comfort us in deep and powerful ways.

Remember that the transformation that you are in at this time is going to lead you home to a divine center. Surrender to this transformation and ground yourself in the midst of it and you will find a place of peace.

Many Blessings,
Liz

Clearing your mind

There is so much buzz around the concept that our thoughts are powerful and have the ability to create our reality. If we believe that, then it is vital to spend time daily clearing our thoughts and finding deep and pure intentions in our lives. We spend time brushing our teeth, cleaning our houses, showering, but very little if any time clearing our energy and our minds. It makes sense that life could get a bit muddy. If we never cleaned our house, what would it look like? If we never brushed our teeth, what would we smell like? :)

How, you might ask- how do we clear our thoughts? Spend time with them. Do some form of meditation. Some people meditate well seated with their eyes closed and emptying their minds. This form of meditation doesn't work well for most of us, so find a form that does. Take a walk in the fresh air, do yoga, ride an exercise bike, run, journal, draw, paint. Do something where you can focus on your thoughts and let them clear out. Do a daily prayer, "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, help me to cleanse and clear my thoughts and my body, mind, heart, and spirit. Help me to set healthy intentions in my life. Help me to create a beautiful and inspired life, through beautiful and inspired thoughts and actions." Give yourself a daily clearing and report back to me on how it has changed your life. Lots of Love, Liz

Happy End of Summer- I am back!

Hello everyone! It has been a whirlwind of a summer for me, and it's nice to be back in the swing of things again. I'm back to blogging!

I wanted to fill people in with what I have been up to, for those who are interested, and also what I am planning for this fall.

This summer, I got to travel all over the place. I started in the beginning of June with a trip to Spain and Italy and I got to experience the intense energy that Europe is going through at the moment. I could really feel the pressure that the world's economic challenges are creating over there. There was an underlying tension in the air that I am not used to in traveling to Europe. There still is such a sweetness to Europe and the ancient cultures are always rich, and I loved getting over there.

I got to travel with family a couple of times this summer, and landed up in the Pacific Northwest for awhile. It's such a beautiful part of our country and I spent time with my nephew and little baby niece. There's nothing like baby time to rejuvenate and find your center. I loved it.

My final trip was to New York City. I am always impressed by the diversity of the city and I felt an especially strong and profound kindness to the people there this time. (With a mix of straight-forwardness that New York is famous for.) It was beautiful.

In the midst of all my travels, I have been connecting with all of you and witnessing your journeys. I feel very blessed to be able to do the work that I do and to see people's growth and profound realizations. I am excited for this fall and for the depth of transformation that is happening on the planet at this time. We are truly evolving as a species, and opening to lead from our heart center. We are healing what stands in our way of deep soulful heart connection with ourselves and with the world.  There is an intensity in the air, but we have the capacity to move through this time with grace and health.

I work Monday-Friday 10-5 MST doing readings and Reiki. I will be doing phone groups the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7:30 Mountain Time, and groups at my house the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 5. I am also planning some classes on the west coast, so please let me know if you're interested and I will get you my schedule.

Lots of Love to you all and you will be hearing from me again soon!

A Prayer for the gulf from Dr Masaru Emoto

I got this in my email and wanted to paste it here to further affirm a healthy healing for the gulf. Many blessing to everyone. I will begin blogging again soon. I got back from Sicily and Spain recently and have been slowly returning my brain to New Mexico. Blessings everyone, Liz

Dr. Masaru Emoto's Healing Prayer for the Gulf
Focusing our energies in response to the Gulf tragedy and for healing the waters and its inhabitants -

Today at our church we read a letter from Dr. Masaru Emoto who many of you will recognize as the scientist from Japan who has done all the research and publications about the characteristics of water. Among other things, his research revealed that water physically responds to emotions.
Right now, most of us have the predominantly angry emotion when we consider what is happening in the Gulf. And while certainly we are justified in that emotion, we may be of greater assistance to our planet and its life forms, if we sincerely, powerfully and humbly pray the prayer that Dr Emoto, himself, has proposed.

"I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings.
To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, planktons, corals, algae, and all living creatures. I am sorry. Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you. "

I am passing this request to people who I believe might be willing to participate in this prayer, to set an intention of love and healing that is so large, so overwhelming that we can perform a miracle in the Gulf of Mexico.

We are not powerless. We are powerful. Our united energy, speaking this prayer daily...multiple times daily....can literally shift the balance of destruction that is happening.

We don't have to know how......we just have to recognize that the power of love is greater than any power active in the Universe today.

Please join me in oft repeating this healing prayer of Dr. Emoto's.
And feel free to copy and paste this to send it around the planet.
Let's take charge, and do our own clean up!

Finding Calm in the Storm

There is a lot of chaotic energy swirling around this planet. We see this in our news and we hear it from the great and intense shifts people are making in their lives. It is vital for us all to find our center, to find the eye of the storm. How do we do this? Taking deep breaths and affirming our divinity can be centering and clearing. "I am divinely grounded here on this planet as the world is shifting around me. I am filled with light and love and I ask the divine to stand with me so that I can experience and know that the growth of this planet is ultimately beautiful and good."

We all have the ability to find a place of peace, no matter what is going on around us.  Keep doing prayers for centering so that you can feel healthy and whole in the midst of rapid change and growth.

Love and Light,
Liz

Affriming Divine Abundance

The Divine moves through you in everything that you do. You are divine light, you are divine truth, you are divinity itself. A powerful aspect of your divinity is limitless abundance. Every cell of your being knows how to be abundance. You have an internal and innate ability to contact divine abundance within you and to activate that abundance by affirming it. Your divine wisdom and intelligence will then work with the world within you and around you to create that abundance in ways that beyond your imagination. "I am divine abundance," is a great affirmation for everyone to utilize daily to open to more and more abundance of love, joy, peace, passion, health, wealth, and wisdom. Your mind does not create the abundance, but it helps to train and activate you at a cellular level to align with your divinity. Then, in turn,  your mind is inspired by your divinity to take action on abundant thoughts. Have fun, be abundant! :) Blessings, Liz

Healing when disaster strikes- Gulf of Mexico Prayer

It is easy to feel helpless when a disaster strikes. I am thinking of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico right now, but there are so many disasters that occur across the planet, within our own lives, and within the lives of our friends and family. How can we support the situation if we can't physically be there to help?

I will use the Gulf of Mexico as an example, but you could use this prayer and meditation for anything from a personal "disaster" to a global one. (I put the word disaster in quotes, because ultimately everything has a divine purpose. We learn from deep challenges, but there are definitely things in life that feel like disasters at the time.)

Visualize the Gulf of Mexico in the healthiest possible state. Clear water, healthy fish and animals, clean air, and perfect balance. Ask for divine light to surround the area and to divinely inspire everyone who is working with the issue to find solutions that are easy and gentle on the environment and on every living thing. Imagine a legion of angels embracing the situation as a whole and know that the divine is infinitely intelligent and can heal all that is out of balance. A simple prayer that you could say throughout the day when you think of the Gulf would be, "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, please surround the Gulf of Mexico in divine light and healing and help it to find deep and divine health and balance."

We can be of amazing assistance if we hold all that is out of balance in balance in our minds and in our hearts. Focusing on a positive outcome helps us support the earth and everyone around us.

Many blessings, Liz

Spirit of Grace

I wanted to give an update on my experience with Gracie since she died... It has been an amazing journey and her spirit is very strong.

Last week it had been 3 weeks since Gracie died, and my other dog Cosette woke me up in the middle of the night with a mournful loud cry. It startled me from a deep sleep. I could feel Gracie's presence really strong, and I had the thought that Gracie was going through her dying process in her life review. Every time I would start to fall back asleep, I could hear the sound of a dog throwing up- that's how Gracie died- and I would look up and Cosette was fine. I finally got up and prayed and sent Gracie light and love and gratitude. Eventually, I felt a sense of peace and freedom.

The next day, I had a morning client and then a break. All of a sudden, I had this orb of light cover my vision. It was clear and fringed with a kaleidescope of light that was blinking. I could see it equally well with my eyes closed or open. It lasted for about a half an hour and then I had a splitting headache for about an hour. I knew it was Gracie saying hi in her formless form, now free of her life review and open to a new life in spirit as a guide and friend. I can feel her more tangibly now and she has very expansive and healing energy as always.

I will report more along the way. Hope you all are enjoying the spring!

Grace

This is a blog about my sweet dog Gracie who passed away Easter Sunday- 4/4/2010...

I had a vision before I met Gracie that I would have a dog who would help me with my treatments and who was a true healer. When I met her, she was a scrappy wild dog from the reservation, with giant bat ears and vim and vigor and independence. I had no idea that this was the dog that I had envisioned. She and I bonded immediately, though, and she would wrap her legs around me and hold on like she was hugging me and not let go. She was a treat.

Little did I know that that little scrappy Gracie was an angel in disguise as a dog. She came to me magically on April Fools day, and left me gracefully 14 years later on the 4th of April. I had her almost exactly 14 years.

Her life was filled with light and inspiration and a calmness that felt so soothing and balancing to me and to everyone she met. As she grew up, she turned into that dog I had seen. Wisdom and grace were apparent immediately and she truly lived up to her name.

She was such a gift to my readings and to my Reiki treatments. Sometimes she would get so insistent with me to help someone and she would bark when energy was shifting and healing and she would sit on people where they hurt to give them comfort and energy. In groups, she would always go over to the person who needed her and love on them. She was everyone's best friend and taught everyone the meaning of true compassion.

Grace shared pure love with everyone she met. She wouldn't let me pass another dog or person without saying hello to them and giving them a kiss. She had cat friends that she adored. (Maybe more than they adored her.) She loved all of my clients with a pure heart, even the one's who weren't dog people and didn't like her just because she was a dog. She didn't judge, she just loved.

Gracie overcame so many obstacles and taught me so much about being present in the moment and how not to fear life but to jump right in and live. She got bit by a rattlesnake when she was 2 years old. I was living up in Placitas and she chased something off our front porch. When she came back, she acted super weird and had a mark above her eye. We lived near a horse stable, and I thought she had gotten kicked by a horse. I started giving her Reiki and I got super nauseous and passed out. I woke up a half an hour later and her face had puffed up like a balloon. She helped me to see how powerful Reiki was, because it helped her to live through the snake bite. We got to the hospital and they gave her the anti-venom and she lived.

At 6 years old, Gracie got Addison's Disease, which is a very hard disease to diagnose. It is an auto-immune disease where the adrenal glands don't function. She would shiver and shake for seemingly no reason and had symptoms that resembled a bladder infection. I was taking her to an alternative vet, and then had to rush her into the hospital on New Years Eve because she had turned green- literally green. Divinely, I went to a vet that specialized in Addison's Disease and they were able to diagnose her and save her life. I am sure she had only a couple of hours to live. In maintaining her Addison's, we used a combination of Eastern and Western Medicine and it really helped me appreciate and know the strengths and weakness of both kinds of treatments. She had Addison's Disease all of her life and needed monthly shots, but she never acted lost or upset with her illness. She had bad days, and scary moments, but never showed any signs of giving up on life or giving up on any adventure she could find.

At 8, Gracie and I were hiking in the mountains and I had her off-leash. (I know, I know. :)) It was a snowy day, and we always liked going out to the quiet and solitude of snow. I was hiking an arroyo and I turned around and saw her chasing a coyote and a very large coyote was chasing her. I screamed at her to come to me, which usually didn't work, but she must have felt the panic in my voice and the coyote on her tail. She turned, and I prayed that big coyote would leave her, but he didn't and he kept chasing her down the arroyo. I started running towards them, knowing it might be stupid, but also knowing I would never forgive myself if I didn't try and save her. I had to face my fear, even though her life and my own were running through my mind. The coyote took out her back legs and she tumbled down the arroyo at my feet. I yelled "Get Back!" to the coyote and magically it did- not far, but enough for me to pull Gracie to me. I made myself look big by puffing up my jacket and then the whole pack started howling- they were surrounding us and I hadn't known! I almost peed my pants! I dragged Gracie out, still making myself look big and we made it out alive. She only had a tear in her leg where the coyote had taken her down. Whew! Gracie trusted me to get her out of that situation and didn't get aggressive or challenge those coyotes in any way. She gave me pure love and respect.

As Gracie got older, the adventures became more tame and more internal. Her Addison's Disease challenged her and I stayed in tune with her body and her signals when she needed new medicine and adjustments to her treatment. We talked naturally without talking and we knew each other's needs.

When it was time for Gracie to go to spirit, she handled it with as much grace as a dog who loved life could. I could tell she would fight to the last breath, and I needed to help her to go. She was throwing up and was in pain and she was dying. A dog has to suffer a little at the end- enough to let us know that it is time, but I told the divine- "I get it, you don't need to show me by having her suffer anymore, I will help her to pass." As soon as I said this out loud, her throwing up stopped and she rested. I would have a moment where I would think- "oh, she's ok," and she would start to get urp-y and uncomfortable again. I would say, "I get it," and she would be peaceful again. I got a true message that it was time, and all doubt was gone.
Her favorite and amazing vets who were like family to her came to the house on Easter morning, which they wouldn't have done for any other dog, I'm sure, and helped me to help her go to spirit. She got the royal treatment that she deserved and went peacefully. At first, I could feel her spirit adjusting to it's new formless form, but once her body was cremated I felt her with me larger than life and filled with the same grace that she always had.

There is a surrealness and a sadness with the fact that I have lost her body and her physical presence, but her spirit is so amazing and we are so connected that I feel her with me always. My heart feels more open and receptive to life than it ever has. I have Gracie with me once again telling me to live- to be open to life and to face my fears and to live. I know her message in life and in spirit is to live fully, to love unconditionally for all that we are and all that we are not, to be present and open to every moment, and to be a true friend. She lived her life this way and was and is a true healer to all of us.

This was written in honor of and in gratitude to my best friend Gracie with much love to all of you for your prayers, love, and support for both of us.

I am in the process of creating a doggie blog in honor of Gracie for all of us to share fun/funny and inspirational dog stories and pictures. If anyone wants to participate, let me know.

Blessings,
Liz

Crazy energy in the air

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but there is some crazy energy in the air, energy that scrambles the mind and the senses. We all need to focus on being grounded as this energy moves across the planet. "I am grounded, body, mind, heart, and spirit," is a good affirmation right now.

This crazy energy is the winds of change. Huge transformation is entering in more and more every day. We feel it in our own lives and we see it in the news from around the world. Will this change be positive? Of course, ultimately the world will naturally come into divine balance and open to more love and more peace. The key is to stay focused on love and peace within ourselves and not to get lost in the craziness of this healing planet. "I am love, I am peace," would be a good simple mantra to keep on your mind.

Many blessings to you all! Love and Light, Liz

Sir Isaac Newton and finding common ground

I was thinking about life and how many oppositions we face.  We see Democrats vs Republicans, Eastern Medicine vs Western Medicine, intellect vs intuition, the list goes on and on. In Sir Isaac Newton's 3rd Law of Motion, he says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It makes me ponder how we can somehow tone our activism accordingly. Instead of creating opposition by being adamantly against something, couldn't we look instead for common ground? By looking for common ground and not opposing forcefully, the reaction against what we believe in would become smaller and we would have more peace within ourselves and more peace in the world around us.

I recognize this is easier said than done. We all have strong beliefs that we live from and it can be hard to find compassion for those who have strong opposing beliefs, especially when those beliefs cause others pain and suffering. Finding the common ground feels like the way to peace, though, so it feels worthwhile for us to try.

Here's a prayer to work with: "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, I honor everything that I believe in and I ask for help in opening my heart and my mind to those who believe differently than me. Please help me to find compassion in my heart for those who oppose me and for those who oppose my beliefs. Help me to honor our differences and to find and focus on what we have in common. I ask for divine light to fill me and to fill the world so that we can find peace in who we are, and so it is, Amen."

Birth

It seemed only fitting after my last blog about death to talk  a moment about birth. My brother and sister-in-law are about to have a baby and I get to go this coming week and be there with them to welcome in their new little girl. There is something very amazing and sacred about witnessing  the beginning of a new life.

When a soul or a spirit comes into form, their energy is the closest that we can come to experiencing the essence or energy of god or the divine. Their little bodies are awkward, yet their energy is powerful and pure.

I will report back to everyone on my experience.

By the way, Gracie is hanging in there and has bright eyes and a bright spirit still. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Death and New Beginnings

My dog Gracie is now 14 and she is slowing down. I can feel in her a preparation to move into spirit, and she has had some episodes lately than confirm that. It is a sad time because I will miss her body and her grace- she was named appropriately- but it is also a fascinating time. I can feel that her spirit is less attached to her body and therefore I can connect with her in a way that is very comforting and very strong. Since her body is slowly shutting down, her spirit is slowly moving out of her body, and I can tangibly feel the process. She has been a great teacher for me along the way in her life, but affirming for me once again that there is so much more to us than our bodies is a precious gift. She and I are in an ending of our lives together in this form, but it is truly a new beginning for us to connect in an even deeper way than we have with her here in her beautiful body.

I know that all of you have experienced pets or humans that you have lost. We can all connect anytime with those who have passed. Some of those connections are stronger than others; some souls have a lot to process when they die and it's hard to feel their presence, some are more tangibly present with us. All we need to do to connect is to send them light and love and to realize that they are now in a new form, a larger more divine and free form. We don't want to hold them to the form that they had when they were here, but we can still connect with the divine essence of who they are.

"Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, help me to connect with the essence of my friend who has passed. Please send light and love to them in their process and their movement into spirit. Whatever is the most divine connection with this soul, I ask to open to that connection. I honor the place that my friend had in my life and the place that they have in my heart and I set them free to fly with the angels. If they can connect with me in a healthy way for me and for them, I ask to feel and experience and know that connection. In deep gratitude, I honor this space of connection, and so it is, amen."

Prayer

Quite a few clients have wanted my to write out the prayer that I do at the beginning of every session. This is a transcription that is a little more useful when you use this prayer for yourself. Hope you enjoy! Love and Light, Liz

Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, I give thanks to my beauty, to my light, to my truth. At this time, I allow myself to fully and completely  surrender to my divine state of light, to my divine state of truth. As I surrender to my divine state of truth, I recognize and know in every cell of my being that I am love itself. I am light. I am health; body, mind, heart, and spirit. I am abundance. I am joy. I am peace. I am bliss. Anything and everything that stands in my way of recognizing and knowing my divinity easily and gently heals, lifts, shifts and transforms so that every cell of my being and every aspect of my life aligns with a divine state of light, to a divine state of truth. I honor myself in this life, and I bless this life in a state of pure and divine love and light, and so it is, Amen

Daily Practice

Great group at my house last night. It was fun to see you all!

I was contemplating what to write today and when I sat with it, the words "daily practice" came to me. In the Gratitude CD that I just created, I talk quite a bit about a daily practice of gratitude. When you wake up in the morning, think of what you are grateful for and you will affirm with yourself and with the divine what you love in your life. When you affirm what you love, you naturally create more of it in your life. When you go to sleep, again give thanks to the day, and you will sleep soundly and feel more content when you wake up in the morning.

A gratitude practice is vital, but I also want to cover the full picture of what a daily practice of connecting with the divine within yourself looks like. Here are some important elements to include.

1. Morning gratitude prayer. Sitting for an moment before you get up and and being consciously grateful.
2. Set an intention to do something that you love to do for yourself at least once a day. This can be dancing around your living room to your favorite song, this can be taking a hot bath, this can be reading a chapter of a good book, or this can be anything that brings you joy. This is your own moment, whatever your own moment looks like for you, so live it fully. For those of you who are caretakers and love to help others, you can help others as much as you want in a day, but the moment I'm talking about here is totally for you. Give to yourself as well.
3. Affirming daily that you are divine, body, mind, heart, and spirit. No matter what your mind says about who you are, you are divine.
4. Daily movement- whatever movement that is possible. Consciously feeling your body and knowing that you are alive. We see the miracle of life when we know we are here. Even if our body is sick, even if it hurts, we are here and we are alive in this moment and that is a miracle.

Make sure you have some form of daily practice that honors your divine self. Without honoring the divinity within you and around you, life can be mundane or overwhelming. The more that you connect with the divine point of it all, the more you will feel inspired in life.

Many Blessings to you all,
Liz

Love

Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone! I find that Valentine's Day is a great day to reflect on love. There's so much focused on the commercialism and the romantic element on Valentine's Day that it can be a slightly depressing holiday unless we remember truly what love is. Love is the essence of who we are. We can't escape it, nor would we want to since it is so good to feel the experience of the truth of our being. We can be in and out of love in relationship, but we can't be in and out of love as the truth of our being.

We "fall in love" because we are able to open our hearts and experience and express the truth of our being with someone. All of us have someone that we love, even if it's a plant :), even if it is the planet, or if it is with a friend or a pet or a romantic partner. The more we open our hearts in a state of love for whoever or whatever we love in this world, the more we experience the truth of our being, which is love itself.

So, as a Valentine's exercise, picture something or someone that you love. Take a deep breath and ask for a full and complete experience of deep and unconditional love. Take another deep breath and affirm, "I am love itself. The love I feel in this moment expands into my entire being so that I feel not only love for this person or thing, but that I feel love for myself and for all that is. Love is all around me, love is within me, love is me."

Blessings and deep love to you all.

The Volcano

The Wednesday night group (http://intuitiveliz.com/groupreadings.html) had some interference again and when we looked into why we discovered that there is a grand energy of transformation going on on the planet right now. This transformation is deeply cleansing and it is an intense healing, not a gentle one. I would compare it to a volcano erupting within each of us. All of us are healing at a deep level, body, mind, heart and spirit. When a energetic volcano erupts, there is a healing ash that comes out of our energy field and if we are all healing at the some time with the same amount of intensity then the world feels a little "ashy". Make sure you cleanse and clear throughout the day so that you don't get bogged down by this energy.

The good news is that this "volcanic" time is a powerful time for us all to reflect on what we most want to release. Do you want to heal feeling of a lack of abundance? Do you want to deepen a state of love and joy and transform what stands in your way of your divine truth? Do you want to heal your body? Now is the time to throw anything you want to heal into the fire and let it transform. Whether you are conscious of it or not, you are healing core belief systems and so is everyone around you. The more conscious you are of intentionally healing, the better you will feel in this moment. Be gentle with yourself, and be patient with your loved ones. We are all in this together.

Here's a prayer... "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, help me to heal and transform at the core of my being anything that stands in my way of feeling, experiencing, and knowing my divinity. I am divine abundance, divine love, divine joy, divine power, divine passion, divine peace, divine bliss. I ask for a cleansing and clearing, body, mind, heart, and spirit, as I heal so that I can feel clear and centered and grounded as this transformation happens. I ask for a waterfall of light to pour through me and to clean out my energy and the energy that surrounds me. I send light to the world and gratitude for this healing, and so it is, Amen."

Divine Will versus Personal Will

When we read into various situations in our lives and we get a divine answer about the situations but then that divine answer turns out "wrong", what has happened? There are many different reasons for this, but one big reason is the difference between divine will, which is what we read when we go within and listen, and personal free will, which is what every person has the ability to take action from. Let's say, you tune into a relationship that you would really love to create in your life. You like this guy and you're wondering if he likes you. When you tune into it, he is a perfect match for you and you feel a deep soul connection. Does this guarantee that he and you will enter into a relationship? Unfortunately, no. He might have too many issues that stand in his way of being open to a relationship with you. He might think someone else is hot and doesn't care if there's a soul connection with you. Basically, his person will might interfere with the divine will that says you'd be perfect for each other.

This can happen in many different situations in life. Let's say you have a house you want to buy and it feels perfect for you, and you sit with the energy of the situation and it deeply feels right that you will move into this house. Then, suddenly, the owners decide not to sell. Their personal will blocked you from moving into the house of your dreams.

Again, I want to mention, that a lot of times there are other reasons for you to be blocked from relationships or situations that in your mind might feel to be divine. Maybe the guy of your dreams is really a jerk and the house of your dreams is a money pit. What I am talking about here is when you really tune into something and it really feels right and all the energy feels like it's behind something that you are entering into with another person and the rug gets pulled out from under you. That's when personal will has gotten in the way. We've all been there in different situations in our life and it can be deeply frustrating. Just know that when something like this happens, we will later open to an even better outcome.

Here's to living more clearly from divine will in our lives!

The New Awakening

This planet is going through a new awakening, an awakening to love. Humanity is shifting so that we begin our days, our lives with the intention to love. In this awakening, the planet is healing and all of us are learning at a deep level to re-prioritize. If you find yourself in dilemmas, the best way to find a solution is to ask yourself, "how can I lead from love?" This question is a deep and powerful one and will take some practice. I want to clarify the question and remind everyone that leading from love is not always leading from being "nice", but is leading from being deeply truthful and honest and coming from a divine place of love. Tough love can be forgotten sometimes and is equally important as nice and sweet love.

Looking at this awakening, many people have asked me why so many beautiful souls are choosing to pass to spirit lately. This planet is shifting at such a fast pace that a lot of souls have chosen to be in spirit to help the transformation happen. These souls are high vibrational master souls that are needed to hold the light for the planet. Know that your loved ones who have died or who are dying have great purpose and will lead a powerful life in spirit. This is true always, but it is especially amplified lately with the powerful shift happening on this planet. This is a vital time here on earth and some souls who's body or mind are worn out are more useful in spirit than they are in form. We who are left behind have the divine purpose of grounding the energy of love on the earth. Working together with those who have passed can be deeply healing for us in the mourning process and can also ground more completely the energy of love. Feeling love from our friends in spirit opens our earth bound hearts and helps us to open to divine love more completely. We heal ourselves and this planet when we experience this divine connection. Sit with the love that you have for and from your friends and family in spirit and you will know with deep certainty that the heart connections that you have are eternal.

I am working on a book about love that will help us focus on love more deeply here on earth. Any questions people have about love would enhance my book, so please send them my way. Blessings to you all, and a special legion of angels to Haiti, Love, Liz

The New Year of Gratitude...

This year I am setting an intention to go deeper into a state of gratitude for every aspect of my life, every aspect of my body, mind, heart, and spirit. Anyone who would like to join me in this deepening of gratitude, please do. What I have recognized by setting this intention is that there are different levels of gratitude. We can say we are grateful, but when we really sit with gratitude and bring in different areas of our lives that we feel unsettled with and allow ourselves to really feel gratitude, we can change our lives. When we feel grateful and begin our days from a state of gratitude for everything that we are and everything that we are not, a state of peace and joy enters into every cell of our beings. This is bliss.

Here's a prayer to do... "Dear God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, I am grateful beyond measure for my life. I ask for divine assistance to feel the energy of gratitude and I release all resistance to deeply feeling and knowing gratitude. I know that every step that I walk here on this earth is divine. I ask for my body, mind, heart, and spirit to embrace the divine light in every every aspect of my life. I open my heart in deep gratitude and release all that stands in my way of a fully grateful life. And so it is, Amen."

In the spirit of gratitude, I am creating a new cd this month called- get this- "Gratitude" :) This is a part of the "Begin Within" CD series that I have been working on. My website has the other CDs posted, http://www.intuitiveliz/products2.html. Please let me know if you would like a FREE copy of the CD "Gratitude." I am offering this free to my readers and clients in gratitude for all of your love and support. Many blessings and much love and light, Liz
